Funny, I'm re-reading Baillie right now. And I was bitter that I couldn't attend the conference as a fellow wannabe (Luci Shaw was in my town!!!). There is so much more to art than galleries and getting published; I'd like to see us, as a body, expand on that. I often feel "artful" when I am forming and baking the communion bread, thinking of how it will look in the lovely clay service pieces, how it will smell as we bring it to our mouths, how it will taste and remind us of our God for a moment, and how He will be like a blood transfusion (Dr. Brand's idea).
